I really enjoyed the story line and depth of the charectors in this series. There are very few gramatical errors. What I found grossly missing was detail! Her lack of descriptions of places and things, ie castle interiors, interior of Morna and Jerry's Inn, Clan colors, etc, and the simple usage of words such as "kilt" versus "plaid" and "linen pants" versus trews" were questionable. Maybe I'm being picky, but there are so many authors who deliver wonderful imagery along with great story lines without graphic sex.I am looking forward to In Due Time, Jeffery'a story.
I hope if Ms. Claire is going to write more series in this genre, she takes the time to read several series from the most popular authors and then research every thing she can find on Medieval Scots history including fashion, medicine, daily life, castles, etc.
With her talen as a story teller, adding the additional imagery can only send her career soaring!

What a great series of books. I really like the stories the author came up with and the connections between characters in both 1675 and 2013. Time travel is fun to read about and the reactions the people in each time period react when traveling to another time period.
I thought these books were really fun to read. Good escape and relaxation and let the stories take you out of everyday stresses. One readers may not like the fact that these stories are out of the norm but that's why they're so much fun. I loved the romance and family love in all these series, they were warm and fuzzy. I like to also read more hardcore mysteries but once in a while I need these type of stories to calm and be my calgon take me away times. I was hesitant at first to buy these but am glad I did and now I'm going to look into the continuing series of Mornas' Legacy books. I recommend this series if you're looking for a fun, relaxing reading time.
I am typically a historical romance reader but was offered this box set through bookbub. All I can say is, "Wow, what a ride!" I couldn't put it down I rendered up getting the audio book to go along with it and Lily Collingwood is simply amazing!!!!
I'm a HUGE Diana Gabaldon fan. Started reading this series while waiting for Diana's latest to be released. No matter how anxious I was for the new book, I couldn't put this series down to start it! Hoping there will be more to come!
From the first page I was hooked and couldn't put this box set down! I found I knew who the next story would be about as each story came to its conclusion and couldn't wait to get started reading it! love Love LOVE this series!
I love time travel books and this box set is one of the best I've ever read! Wonderful characters, great historical descriptions and a good plot combined with marvelous writing, it just doesn't get much better. If you enjoy time travel, you'll love this box set. Kudos to Bethany Claire for an excellent job.
I've read time travel books before but this one was simply amazing! Every book had extraordinary and memorable characters. 20th-century women dropped into 400 years in the past turns everything upside down in a great way. Bri's mom is a flake and resembles a petulant teenager, until she meets the man of her dreams, but she doesn't stop being the spirited woman that she is her husband Hew loves her just the way she is. I couldn't put these books down in either will you after I finish the fourth book I had to buy the next set. Bethany Claire is now on my list of Favorite Authors one I have to follow just like Kathryn Le Veque, Eliza Knight, Donna Fletcher and so many more. Happy reading everyone 😉
